Rolling Reels and 15x Multipliers enhance new Jungle Jim El Dorado Slot

We’ve come to expect a lot from Microgaming, the world’s leading developer of online slot machines and other interactive casino gambling amusements. Every month, a series of new slots hit the online market, and I have to say, I’m rather impressed with their upcoming release of the new Jungle Jim El Dorado Slot.

Microgaming has become well know for spitting out cookie-cutter games with generic playing-card symbols making up half the reel’s symbols, but they didn’t do that this time. Jungle Jim El Dorado is packed with stellar, 3D graphics, lucrative features and an all-encompassing, ancient South American treasure hunt theme.

Due for release at Microgaming-powered online casinos in early September, this new online slot machine is stacking up to be a ‘reel’ winner. According to it’s creators, it’s not just another slot machine, it’s “an epic online slot adventure”.

Jungle Jim El Dorado Features

Jungle Jim is an animated ‘Liberator of Lost Treasure‘ in this jewel-encrusted adventure, where hunting for Mayan relics and precious stones is the name of the game. The symbols include everything from vibrant relics and wooden flutes, to myriad gems and treasure chests brimming with gold coins. But the fantastic HD graphics and fitting sound effects are just the outer layer of this new slots’ most gratifying features.

Microgaming has imbued Jungle Jim El Dorado with it’s popular Rolling Reels feature, not just during free spins, but in the base game as well. Each time a winning combination is struck, the symbols involved in the winning combination(s) explode and new symbols drop into place, with the potential to create even more winning combos.

Best of all, each time a consecutive win hits, the game’s built-in multiplier increases. This feature is known as the Multiplier Trail, and it promises huge payouts for those who achieve consecutive wins from the Rolling Reels.

During the base game, the multiplier, which starts at 1x, will increase to 2x after one win, 3x after two consecutive wins, and so on, up to 5x after the 4^th consecutive win. During free spins, the multipliers are even more rewarding, but we’ll get to that in a moment. Once the multiplier increases, it resets back to 1x as soon as a Rolling Reel feature doesn’t result in a payout.

The new slots’ Scatter symbol is a treasure locating tool, and you’ll need to land 3 of them anywhere on reels 1, 2 and 3 to activate 10 free spins. To start, all free spins are paid with a 3x multiplier, based on the bet that triggered the free spins.

As player’s strike winning combinations, the Rolling Reels feature and Multiplier Trail will go into effect, but this time the multipliers are increased from 3x, to 6x, 9x, 12x and 15x respectively for consecutive wins. Like the base game, if the Rolling Reels don’t result in a win, the multiplier is reset to 3x until the next paying combination is struck. Note that free spins can be re-triggered during the free spin phase.

The only thing missing from the Jungle Jim El Dorado Slot is a wild symbol, but with so many other features – and a shot at a max $92,000 jackpot – it’s hard to complain. I, for one, look forward to playing the new slots as soon as it hits the market next month.
