Thor, the mythical, hammer-wielding God of Lightning, is the star of Red Tiger Gaming’s latest creation. Thor’s Lightning is set in mythological times, situated amid the frozen tundra of ancient Viking territory.

The symbols are made up of thematic runes and relics. A winning combination can be made of any 5 or more alike symbols adjacent to one another, regardless of their position; a feature known as Cluster Pays. Traditional left-to-right and right-to-left assemblies do not apply.

The premise of the game surrounds the 7×7 reel set, and the 3×3 section of the grid encased in stone at its center. The stone center is unlocked by matching winning clusters of symbols next to its parts. The Avalanche feature assists in this.

Every time a winning cluster is paid, its symbols explode and disappear, leaving room for new symbols to fall into place from above. At random, Thor can appear to throw his hammer, leaving behind matching symbols to guarantee a win, or striking the reels with lightning to remove low-paying symbols, or throw Wilds randomly onto the reels.

Valhalla Free Spins: All standard symbols disappear from the reels. For the duration of free spins, all symbols are Golden Shields, which lock into place and transform into stake multipliers at the end of the feature. All stake multipliers stack to award a multiple of the triggering bet.

Muspell Free Spins: During these free games, all low-paying symbols are eliminated, leaving only high-paying symbols behind. Two additional features can trigger at random during this bonus; Lava Flow and Lava Shower.
